Gossip Girl is coming back July 8 and before the revival, HBO Max has released an official trailer.
The trailer, which is set to Frank Ocean’s “Super Rich Kids”, shows the new cast surrounded by drama. A new girl moves to town and the popular group takes her in, but before long, they see she isn’t as innocent as she looks. Gossip Girl is back, but this time she’s an Instagram account.
Gossip Girl stars Eli Brown, Jordan Alexander, Whitney Peak, Thomas Doherty, Tavi Gevinson, Emily Alyn Lind, Evan Mock, Zion Moreno, and Savannah Lee Smith.
The revival is based on the novels by Cecily von Ziegesar and the original show, which was developed by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage. The revival was developed by showrunner Joshua Safran, who served as a writer and executive producer on the original series. Also serving as executive producers are Schwartz, Savage, Leslie Morgenstein, Lis Rowinski, and Gina Girolamo.
