Illumination really kept us waiting for the fourth Despicable Me film, and the wait will soon be over! Gru and the Minions are back in the first trailer for Despicable Me 4, which also revealed the full voice cast of this highly-anticipated animated sequel.

According to Illumination’s official logline, this film will see our favorite supervillain-turned-Anti-Villain League agent Gru return for another adventure with his wife Lucy and their three adopted daughters. They’re forced to run away from home after being targeted by escaped criminal Maxime Le Mal and his femme fatale girlfriend Valentina.

Steve Carell is coming back as the voice of Gru, while Pierre Coffin will once again voice the Minions. Kristen Wiig, Steve Coogan, Miranda Cosgrove, and Dana Gaier will also be back, and they’ll be joined by Will Ferrell as Maxime and Sofia Vergara as Valentina.

Several new cast members have been confirmed in the first trailer, including Joey King (Bullet Train), Stephen Colbert (The Late Show with Stephen Colbert), and Chloe Fineman (Saturday Night Live). Madison Polan is stepping in as Agnes, replacing Nev Scharrel.

Despicable Me 4 marks the sequel to the 2017 movie Despicable Me 3, but the prequel Minions: The Rise of Gru was released in between. It will hit the theaters on July 3 via Universal Pictures.
