Many exciting movies are heading to the American Film Market this month, and Killing Faith is the next one in line. The cast of this supernatural thriller has been announced, with Guy Pearce, DeWanda Wise, and Tim Roth playing the lead roles.
Guy Pearce was cast as Dr. Bender, a faithless physician who agrees to escort an anguished mother (Wise) on a journey across a treacherous desert. She claims her daughter has been possessed by the devil, and she’s trying to find a cure for her mysterious illness. Roth will join them in the role of Preacher Ross.
Ned Crowley (Middle Man) will be in charge of writing and directing this project under the SAG-AFTRA interim agreement. He said it’s a s dream come true to work with this team because “they are true actors’ actors, unafraid to delve into the depths of morally complex characters.”
Ellen Wander will launch the sales at the AFM through Film Bridge International, and she said they’re thrilled to be working with Pearce and Roth once again, especially on this compelling material. She’s producing Killing Faith alongside Jordan Dykstra of Film Bridge International, in partnership with Summer Crockett-Moore and Tony Glazer of Choice Films.
