Gwyneth Paltrow has dozens of prestigious awards under her belt, but mainstream audience mostly knows her Pepper Potts from Iron Man movies. That will change after Avengers: Endgame comes out since she’s plotting her exit from Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Oscar-winning actress announced her departure in a recent cover story with Variety. Endgame will be her last movie in the MCU, but she’s grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this project that turned into worldwide phenomenon.

“I mean, I’m a bit old to be in a suit and all that at this point. I feel very lucky that I did it because I actually got talked into it. I was friends with Jon Favreau. It was such a wonderful experience making the first Iron Man and then to watch how important it has become to fans,” said Gwyneth Paltrow.

She is still open to the possibility of appearing in one of the future films in a lesser capacity, and if MCU bosses ever asked her to make a cameo or show up in flashbacks, she would be happy to jump on board.
