Ron Howard’s adaptation of Hillbilly Elegy is looking to add to its cast.

According to Variety, Haley Bennett, star of The Girl on the Train, is in early talks to join the pics for Netflix.

The streaming giant boarded the project after it won the property in a pricey bidding war.

Should Bennett join the project, in a yet-to-be-announced role, she will star opposite previously announced Amy Adams and Glenn Close. Gabriel Basso is also on the call sheet.

The feature is based on JD Vance’s bestselling memoir, and is a modern exploration of the American dream and follows three generations of an Appalachian family as told by its youngest member, a Yale law student forced to return to his hometown.

The Shape of Water scribe Vanessa Taylor penned the script. Howard will direct and serve as producer alongside Brian Grazer and Karen Lunder for Imagine Entertainment. Julie Oh and Vance will executive produce.
