American singer/songwriter Halsey and rapper G-Eazy have been one of the cutest music couples, but that didn’t help them to keep their relationship alive. After several days of rumors, Halsey has now confirmed that she and G-Eazy have called it quits via an Instagram story. The couple started dating in the summer of 2017.
“I normally keep this kind of thing private but provided our public nature I feel I need to inform my fans,” wrote the “Bad at Love” singer. “G-Eazy and I are taking some time apart. I’m eager to continue the upcoming passage of time dedicating myself to my art and career, and the duration of my tour. I wish him the best. Thanks for respecting our privacy at this time.”
Halsey and G-Eazy officially confirmed they are together in September. Their relationship worked well from the music standpoint since they ended up collaborating on the single “Him & I,” which served as the second single for G-Eazy’s fourth studio album The Beautiful & Damned. The track, also co-written by the couple, earned praise from the critics and ended up peaking at number 14 on US Billboard Hot 100.
