It’s been two years since Halsey graced us with her amazing sophomore album Hopeless Fountain Kingdom, and she’s already working on its follow-up. The Grammy nominee recently announced that her next record will be hitting the shelves this year.
The “Without Me” singer shared the amazing news with her fans on
“I know you guys are anxious for new music and new memories. For touring and traveling with your friends. For events and pop ups and meeting new people. For music video screenshots. For group chats and late night. Thank you for being patient with me. I want it to be perfect,” wrote Halsey.
The singer said she’s hoping her next album will bring peace to everyone willing to listen. She described the process of writing the songs as “a lesson in forgiving myself”. Halsey is yet to share the name and release date of this highly-anticipated album, but she said we can expect it later this year.
