Handmaid’s Tale star Yvonne Strahovski is pregnant! The 35-year-old actress shared the happy news with her Instagram followers on Friday while posting a photo where she showed off her baby bump. This will be her and husband Tim Loden’s first child together.
“I am very excited to finally be able to share my special news-I’m going to be a Mama!” – Yvonne wrote on Instagram. “So very exciting to watch & feel this little Peanut growing every day!”
Yvonne Strahovski married her partner of six years, actor Tim Loden, in the summer of 2017. The couple married at a private ceremony and made their first public appearance as husband and wife at the 2017 Emmys where they confirmed the news for the first time.
“We ended up jumping in the lake in our suit and gown, just to cool down,” Strahovski described the ceremony to E! back in 2017. “It was ridiculously hot. But we had a great time.”
“But we all made it through, we all did some dancing at the end of the night, it was fantastic,” she added.
Yvonne Strahovski started her acting career in Australia, before landing a role in NBC’s action comedy Chuck. She then appeared in movies like The Guilt Trip, I, Frankenstein, and Manhattan Night while being a member of the supporting cast for shows Dexter and 24: Live Another Day. In 2017 she landed the role of Serena Joy Waterford in Hulu’s hit dystopian drama The Handmaid’s Tale.
