Another installment in the Mission: Impossible franchise is set to come out in 2025, and Hannah Waddingham is a part of its star-studded cast. The Emmy-winning actress reflected on the experience of working with Tom Cruise on this film and had nothing but words of praise for her famous co-star.

Waddingham revealed she spent “five intense days” on the fighter carrier alongside Cruise while filming the eighth Mission: Impossible film—and he made every minute count.

“I have to say, I have a real problem with anybody that goes at him now. He is, without doubt, one of the loveliest and encouraging, positive and inspiring human beings I have ever met. Isn’t he gorgeous? I have no time for anyone saying anything about him,” said Waddingham during a recent appearance on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.

The eighth installment in the Mission: Impossible film series serves as a sequel to Dead Reckoning: Part One and it will hit the theatres on May 23, 2025. In addition to Cruise and Waddingham, it will also star Ving Rhames, Henry Czerny, Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby, Esai Morales, Hayley Atwell, Shea Whigham, and Pom Klementieff.

Ted Lasso actress Waddingham is also attached to the action comedy The Fall Guy starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, and she’s recently been cast in Tessa Coates’ new series alongside Octavia Spencer.
