Harry Styles build quite an impressive solo career since leaving One Direction, but would he ever reunite with his old bandmates? The British hitmaker weighed in on the possibility of bringing the gang back together and said he would “never say never” to that.
Before Styles appeared on the very last episode of James Corden‘s The Late Late Show, it was rumored One Direction would reunite to bid Corden farewell. The talk show host dispelled this rumor, tweeting, “Nobody loves the boys more than us… but this story just isn’t true.”
Even though we never got to see One Direction reunite, Corden asked Styles how he feels about this idea during the popular segment of Spill Your Guts or Eat Your Guts.
“I fear that it’s not a yes or no question. I think I would never say never to that. If there was a time when we wanted to do it, I don’t see why we wouldn’t,” said Styles.
One Direction was formed back in 2010, after Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, and Louis Tomlinson met while auditioning for The X Factor. Malik left the band in 2015, and the remaining four members went their separate ways one year later to pursue solo projects.
