Harry Styles never had any trouble topping the Billboard 200 chart with his albums, but he managed to exceed our wildest expectations with his latest record. Harry’s House scored the largest opening week for an album in 2022, with over half a million units sold in its first week alone.

Harry’s House topped the Billboard 200 chart with 521,500 equivalent album units earned, including 330,000 in album sales. This marks the largest opening week for an album in 2022 in the US, but this is not the only country where Styles found success.

Harry’s House also made quite a splash in his native UK, topping the UK Albums chart with 113,000 album-equivalent units. This makes it the fastest-selling album of 2022 in this country so far and Styles’ second solo album to reach No. 1.

As for the Billboard 200 chart, Harry’s House is Styles’ third chart-topping album, following the success of Harry Styles in 2017 and Fine Line in 2019. As for the rest of the chart this week, Harry’s House is followed by former No. 1 Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti and Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.

Harry’s House was released on May 20, and it was preceded by the chart-topping single “As It Was”, which debuted atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
