We’ve got a first look at Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton/Hawkeye and Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop in action in Marvel’s upcoming superhero standalone series on Disney+.
Details have been kept under wraps until now about the series set during the Christmas season in post-blip New York City. In the series, Barton (Renner) passes the torch to Bishop (Steinfeld), who’s a member of the group known as the Young Avengers. She’s the first female to take the Hawkeye name. Bishop, an archer, dreams of becoming a Super Hero, and her and Barton work together when a presence from his past derails them.
The rest of the cast includes Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James, and Alaqua Cox.
Hawkeye is produced by Marvel Studios with Kevin Feige, Jonathan Igla, and Trinh Tran executive producing. Rhys Thomas helmed the film and Bert and Bertie directed it.
The series premiers on November 24 on Disney+. Watch the trailer below.
