It’s only been a month since The White Lotus premiered on HBO, and this network is getting ready to give us more of this addictive series. Mike White’s satirical comedy will officially return for another season.

The White Lotus centers on a group of people vacationing at an exclusive Hawaiian resort, called the White Lotus. As their holiday progresses, darker complexities start emerging in the seemingly perfect travelers, the hotel’s cheerful staff, and the idyllic resort itself.

The renewal of this critically acclaimed show was confirmed by Francesca Orsi, EVP of programming at HBO, who said they’re looking forward to seeing the new adventures that White and his team have in store. “Mike has once again delivered a quintessential HBO show, and it’s the talk of the town. We were thrilled to hear where he wanted to go next, after closing this epic chapter in Hawaii and can’t wait to keep following him wherever he takes us,” said Orsi.

The first season of The White Lotus stars Murray Bartlett, Connie Britton, Alexandra Daddario, Jennifer Coolidge, and Steve Zahn. It’s highly unlikely they’ll return for the next chapter, as Season 2 is expected to center on a new group of vacationers exploring another White Lotus property.
