Peacemaker kicked off the era of Suicide Squad spinoffs on HBO Max and it seems like it’s just the first in the long line of projects taking place in this universe. The streaming service is currently plotting another spinoff that puts Viola Davis’ Amanda Waller front and center.

According to Deadline, the Oscar-winning star is in talks to reprise her villainous role in a spinoff that focuses on her character, in addition to executive producing the project. This report comes shortly after James Gunn told Deadline that he’s working on “another TV show that’s connected to that universe”.

Amanda Waller was introduced as a director of A.R.G.U.S. who established Suicide Squad and appeared in several DC projects, including two Suicide Squad movies. She also made an uncredited cameo in Peacemaker, and her name was mentioned on several occasions throughout Season 1 since one of the main characters—Leota Adebayo played by Danielle Brooks—happens to be her daughter.

Davis most recently portrayed Michelle Obama in the anthology drama series The First Lady, also starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Gillian Anderson. We’ll soon get to see her in the historical epic The Woman King, where she’ll play the general of the Dahomey Amazons, an African all-female military regiment.
