Somebody Somewhere was met with universal critical acclaim over the course of the past two seasons, and its future is looking bright. HBO renewed this dramedy led by Bridget Everett for its third season.

Somebody Somewhere is loosely based on the life of its leading lady Bridget Everett, and it centers on a Kansas woman in her 40s going through a midlife crisis, while also trying to navigate loss and grief in the face of her sister’s recent passing.

Amy Gravitt, EVP of HBO and Max Comedy Programming announced the renewal of Somebody Somewhere in a statement and revealed what we can expect from this show once it comes back.

“We’re thrilled to announce the third season of the honest and impactful Somebody Somewhere. Nothing makes us smile quite like this show, which never fails to remind us that life is made up of the small moments, that family can be chosen, and that dreams don’t have deadlines,” said Gravitt in a statement.

Somebody Somewhere premiered on HBO in 2022, and both seasons currently hold a 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. In addition to Everett, the series also stars Jeff Hiller, Mary Catherine Garrison, Danny McCarthy, Mike Hagerty, Murray Hill, and Jane Drake Brody.
