We’re completely mad about this next story!
As networks ride the wave of series revivals (we’re looking at you, Will & Grace, Full House and Roseanne!) the sea has now parted to let through another 90s classic — Mad About You.
The sitcom, set in New York City, ran between 1992 and 1999, and followed the lives of married couple, Paul (Paul Reiser) and Jamie Buchanan (Helen Hunt).
Rumour that the show was due for a return arose on The Ellen DeGeneres Show where Helen told the comedienne, “I will say that Paul Reiser is in my kitchen a good amount because we’re talking about how to make it and not wreck it, because we’re proud of what we did. So I hope [it will return].”
That hope was not in vain as Entertainment Weekly reports that both Paul and Helen have signed deals with Sony Pictures Television.
The revival is expected to follow the pair in the present day after their daughter Mabel heads off to college.
We can’t wait to jump into the (not so) final frontier!
