Let’s take it back to 1984.
After earning $821.8 million at the global box office, it is no surprise that Gal Gadot would be reprising her role as Diana Prince for the Wonder Woman sequel.
What is surprising, though?
Chris Pine will be back!
Spoiler alert for all 7 of you who didn’t see the DC Comics spectacular last year: Chris’s character (and Wonder Woman’s love interest) Steve Trevor died during the World War I era movie.
But, rest assured, shippers of Steve and Diana, because the latest footage from the flick — officially entitled Wonder Woman 1984 — shows the airforce pilot looking just fine.

Director Patty Jenkins also gave us our first glimpse of Ms. Gadot, amidst a wall of TV screens.
Let’s hope that we’ll soon get images of the other confirmed cast members — Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal — or else we might have to whip out our Lasso of Truth…
