When your wedding was arguably the most exciting event of the year, it would be assumed that your choice of honeymoon location would be equally as thrilling.
Maybe not…
It was believed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, would be honeymooning in the south of Africa.
Harry has a great love affair with the continent, once saying, “it is where I feel more like myself than anywhere else in the world.”
But despite the pair venturing to Botswana together shortly after they began dating, they will not be returning for their honeymoon.
Instead, the newlyweds are likely to be heading to the Fairmount Jasper Park Lodge in Alberta, Canada. The couple is expected to stay in The Outlook Cabin which is 6,000 square feet and costs $7,000 a night.
After all the excitement of the royal wedding, we think they deserve the break!
