Amazon really kept us waiting for the second season of Good Omens, but the wait is finally over! The streamer dropped the first trailer for the next chapter of this fantasy series, starring Michael Sheen and David Tennant as our favorite angel-demon duo.

The first season follows Sheen’s Aziraphale and Tennant’s Crowley after joining forces to prevent the coming of the Antichrist and stop Armageddon from happening so they could continue their harmonious existence on Earth.

The second season will see them trying to get back to easy living amongst mortals—until the archangel Gabriel (Jon Hamm) turns up at their door, with no memory of who he is. They must hide him from both Heaven and Hell, thus disrupting the peaceful existence they worked so hard for.

The star-studded ensemble cast has always been one of Good Omen’s biggest strengths, and the first season also featured Adria Arjona, Miranda Richardson, Michael McKean, Jack Whitehall, Nick Offerman, Brian Cox, Mireille Enos, and Frances McDormand.

Good Omens draws inspiration from Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s novel of the same name, and it originally premiered on Amazon Prime Video in 2019. It’s been renewed for the second season in 2021, and we’ll finally get to see it on July 28.
