Hilary Duff confirmed she and musician Matthew Koma are giving their relationship another chance. Third chance, to be exact. Duff revealed this during her appearance on The Talk. The reports about the couple getting back together started circling a few months ago, but this is the first time Duff spoke about it in public.

Duff said she understands why Selena Gomez is back with Justin Bieber and commented that “timing is such a big deal” in these kinds of situations before adding that “third time’s a charm!”

“It’s going so great,” she said about the relationship with Koma. “I think that you have history and a past with someone and love, and just because it doesn’t work out the first time, the second time, as long as there’s not too much damage done, then, it can always work out again.”

The Younger star and Clarity songwriter were back together for a second time in January 2017, when they spend a vacation together in Costa Rica. The two called it quits in March, after which Duff was linked with businessman Ely Sandvik. It looks like she finally now decided that her heart belongs to Koma after all.

“Hilary quickly went back to spending a lot of time with Matthew. They’ve been spending almost their entire weekends together,” source close to the couple revealed to E! News. “Hilary loves how effortless it is with him and that they always have a good time no matter what they’re doing.”

Besides starring in TV Land’s comedy-drama Younger, Hilary Duff is reportedly also working on her new album. Although she shared a sample of a new song in 2016, there hasn’t been any news about the follow up to Breathe In. Breathe Out since.

Matthew Koma, on the other hand, most recently produced several tracks on Shania Twain’s 2017 album Now.
