Hilary Swank joins the Deon Taylor-helmed film, Fatale.
The 44-year-old actress will star in the upcoming noir thriller as a seductive police detective that tricks a married man into a murder scheme.
Taylor will direct as well as produce the feature with his Hidden Empire Film Group partners Roxanne Avent and Robert F. Smith. David Loughery penned the script and Dante Spinotti will serve as DP.
“Getting tough, smart, beautiful, and perplexing all in one performance is daunting – until you get Hilary Swank, then you breathe easier and things get really exciting,” said Taylor. “We’re really looking forward to making this movie and letting Hilary do what she does best – command the screen.”
Swank who is best known for her roles in Boys Don’t Cry and Million Dollar Baby also stars in What They Had which opens in October.
Production of Fatale begins in Los Angeles next month.
