Hocus Pocus is getting a second life.

While it’s unknown whether the new film will be a direct sequel or reboot, it has been confirmed that the 1993 feature, which starred Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy is officially in the works.

Attached to script Hocus Pocus 2 is Workaholics writer and co-producer Jen D’Angelo. According to sources original stars Midler, Parker, and Najimy are not attached to the project, however, Disney hopes to get them involved.

The original followed the Sanderson sisters, a trio of witches who are resurrected on Halloween, 300 years after the were cursed. They then discover that in the 20th century, Halloween has become a holiday.

Despite being a box office disappointment, earning just $39 million worldwide on a $28 million budget, the film quickly gained a cult following.
