The king of romcoms has landed himself a love story of his own.
It didn’t include four weddings and a funeral, but Hugh Grant is now a married man.
The 57-year-old has been with his partner, Anna Eberstein, for 6 years and the couple has 3 children together.
Hugh has been very vocal on his opposition to marriage — he was previously in a 13-year relationship with actress Elizabeth Hurley, but never got hitched — telling radio host, Howard Stern, “Do I think human beings are meant to be in 40-year-long monogamous, faithful relationships? No, no, no. Whoever said they were? Only the Bible or something. No one ever said that was a good idea. I think there’s something unromantic about marriage. You’re closing yourself off.”
That said, the Notting Hill star, who also has 2 children from a previous relationship, decided to tie the knot with the Swedish television producer at London’s Chelsea Register Office on Friday.
Now that’s love, actually.
