If murder mystery shows happen to be your favorite genre, you’ll be happy to hear that Hulu has another one on the way. The streaming giant dropped the first trailer for the promising new series Death and Other Details, led by Violett Beane and Mandy Patinkin.
Death and Other Details is set amidst the glamor of the global elite, and here’s what it has in store, according to Hulu’s official logline:
“Imogene Scott finds herself in the wrong place at the wrong time and becomes the prime suspect in a locked-room murder mystery; to prove her innocence, she must partner with a man she despises, Rufus Cotesworth, the world’s greatest detective.”
Violett Beane (The Flash) will play Imogene Scott, while the Emmy winner Mandy Patinkin (Homeland) will take on the role of Rufus Cotesworth. Lauren Patten (Blue Bloods), Rahul Kohli (The Fall of the House of Usher), Jayne Atkinson (House of Cards), Linda Emond (Only Murders in the Building), and Annie Q. Riegel (The Leftovers) also star in supporting roles.
Death and Other Details hails from writers Mike Weiss and Heidi Cole McAdams, and the first two episodes of the ten-episode season are scheduled to premiere on January 16.
