Tom Mison (Sleepy Hollow) and Ashley Madekwe (Salem) have joined the cast of Hulu’s miniseries, Four Wedding and a Funeral.
The limited series executive produced by Mindy Kaling and Matt Warburton is inspired by the 1994 British romantic comedy, which starred Hugh Grant and Andie MacDowell. Mison and Madekwe join the previously announced Nathalie Emmanuel (Game of Thrones), Nikesh Patel (Indian Summers), Rebecca Rittenhouse (Into the Dark: The Body) and John Reynolds (Search Party).
According to Deadline, Hulu’s Four Weddings and a Funeral follows four American friends — Maya (Emmanuel), Craig (Brandon Mychal Smith), Ainsley (Rittenhouse) and Duffy (Reynolds) — who reunite for a London wedding. But after a bombshell at the altar throws their lives into turmoil, they must weather a tumultuous year of romance and heartbreak. Relationships are forged and broken, political scandals exposed, London social life lampooned, love affairs ignited and doused.
The miniseries is slated for a 2019 debut on Hulu.
