Paramount+ renewed the hit Nickelodeon show iCarly last year and this is proving to be one of the best decisions they’ve made. This series is proving to be quite a hit for the streaming service, and they just announced its renewal for Season 3.

The revival series takes place nine years after the original show, and it sees Carly Shay moving back to Seattle. She reunites with her brother Spencer and old friend Freddie Benson and decides to relaunch her iCarly web show while grappling with everyday problems and adventures.

Miranda Cosgrove returned as Carly in the revival series, and so did Nathan Kress as Freddie Benson and Jerry Trainor as Spencer Shay. Laci Mosley joined the show as Carly’s new BFF Harper, while Jaidyn Triplett plays Freddie’s adopted stepdaughter Millicent.

Tanya Giles, chief programming officer of streaming at Paramount+, confirmed the show’s renewal in an official statement, singing praises to the cast and crew of this revival series.

“iCarly’s loyal fan base grew up with Carly, Spencer, and Freddie, and have now fallen in love with Harper and Millicent, too. We’re thrilled to have Miranda, Jerry, Nathan, Laci, and Jaidyn return for a third season and we know Paramount+’s growing YA audience is as well,” stated Giles.
