The Black Widow’s back, baby!

Fans of Iggy Azalea were left feeling bittersweet last summer when the hip hop star dropped her third studio album. While The End of an Era was welcomed, it came with the announcement that Iggy would be taking time off to do other stuff.

End of an Era is so special to me because after I drop my album next month i am going to take a few years to focus on other creative projects and things I’m feeling passionate and inspired by, beyond music,” she tweeted in July 2021. “I’m excited for you guys to see different sides to me in the future.”

But it seems a lot can happen in a year as the “Sip It” rapper has had a change of heart. Azalea once again took to Twitter where she confirmed that she is making a comeback.

“A year ago I was willing to walk away from music because I was tired of the negative energy it attracted,” she wrote. “But what I’ve learned is that even when I’m minding my business, y’all gonna be negative AND nosey. So if I can’t have peace, neither can you. I’m coming back. Cry about it.”

We can’t wait to hear what she has in store for us.
