The Broad City creator and star has just announced her next project.
After the hit series about a couple of 20-something best friends who are trying to navigate life in New York came to an end earlier this year after five seasons, Ilana Glazer is venturing into the realm of stand-up specials.
Glazer is heading to Amazon for her new and upcoming first stand-up special titled The Planet Is Burning. The one-hour comedy special was taped yesterday at the White Oak Music Hall in Houston, Texas. Her Wednesday performance is the final stop of Glazer’s recent stand-up tour of the same name.
The special is directed by Broad City producer Ryan Cunningham.
Glazer recently wrapped False Positive, a psychological horror flick which she wrote, produced and also stars in.
The Planet Is Burning will debut exclusively on Amazon Prime later this year.
Glazer announced the news with a video on her Instagram.
