Impeachment: American Crime Story has added six more actors to its cast.
Joining Beanie Feldstein, Clive Owen, Annaleigh Ashford, and Billy Eichner in the third season of American Crime Story are Mira Sorvino, Dan Bakkedahl, Joseph Mazzello, Blair Underwood, Kevin Pollak, and Patrick Fischler.
The Ryan Murphy limited series is based on Jeffrey Toobin’s book A Vast Conspiracy: The Real Story of the Sex Scandal That Nearly Brought Down a President and it follows the Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinsky sex scandal.
Feldstein will be playing Monica Lewinsky, Owen will be Bill Clinton, Ashford will be Paula Jones, and Eichner as Matt Drudge.
Sorvino is playing Marcia Lewis, Monica Lewinsky’s mom. Bakkedahl will be Kenneth Starr, independent counsel during Clinton’s presidency and the author of the Starr Report. Mazzello plays adviser to Bill Clinton during his presidency, Paul Begala.
Underwood plays Vernon Jordan, a business executive and civil rights activist who became a close adviser to Bill Clinton. Pollak will be Bernie Nussbaum, who was White House counsel under President Bill Clinton. Finally, Fischler will portray Sidney Blumenthal, an aide to President Clinton and confidante of Hillary Clinton.
