Selena Gomez is back in the studio. Fans of the “Lose You to Love Me” singer are getting excited by her latest TikTok video which has hinted that new music may be on the way! The clip features Gomez wearing a set of headphones and standing behind a microphone in what appears to be a recording studio.
Back in May, the Only Murders in the Building actress revealed that she was in Los Angeles, working on her new album. It would be a follow-up to her third studio album, Rare, which dropped in 2020.
The likelihood of Selena making a return to music is high, as the second season of Only Murders premiered at the end of June. As for more than that, she said during a recent podcast, “I’m open to a tour, one thousand percent, but I obviously have obligations and things I wanna do, so when the time’s right. It’s not the top of my priority list.”
Thankfully, fans have not been entirely devoid of Selena’s voice in the interim. The 29-year-old singer channeled her Mexican heritage by releasing a Spanish EP last year entitled Revelación. It was nominated for Best Latin Pop Album at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards, earning the singer her first nomination.
