Is There More “Westworld” on the Way?

James Marsden and Evan Rachel Wood in "Westworld"

If your Westworld withdrawal is getting worse, we have some good news.

While we wait for season 3 to hit our screens, the programming chief of HBO has revealed that it likely won’t be the last.

Speaking at the Television Critics Association, Casey Bloys lauded showrunners and creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy for their hands-on approach to the series and allayed any fears fans may have — while also revealing a tidbit regarding future seasons.

“They are 100 percent hands-on,” Bloys said. “We have deals with them for a potential fourth and fifth season. So the deal with them [at Amazon] is for, I believe, everything but Westworld. And they’re very committed to Westworld. So I’m not worried about losing their focus, they don’t lose focus.”

Hear that? A potential season 4 and 5!

As for when we can expect season 3? “First half of 2020,” Bloys said.

We’ll be waiting…
