Marvel Television is now auctioning off the props of its canceled Netflix shows such as Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron fist but it seems not all the crew is ready to depart from these items.

The red body armor worn by Daredevil, i.e. Matt Murdock, played by Charlie cox, was bought by no other than the former showrunner of the series Steven Deknight

On his twitter account, Deknight announced that “this bad boy is coming home to live at the offices of DeKnight Productions, where it belongs!” Deknight has reportedly paid 55,000 dollars for this sentimental gesture.

This is not the only suit worn by the blind hero during the show’s run. It first appeared in the last episode of the first season, replacing the black “Devil of Hell’s Kitchen” attire worn by Murdock till then. Murdock wore the red suit throughout the second season of Daredevil as well as in his appearances in The Defenders.

Meanwhile, the suit Murdock wore in his final battle with Fisk on the series was bought for a somewhat more modest price of 7,750 dollars to another showrunner of the series Erik Oleson.
