Colombian reggaeton star J Balvin is coming to North America and is looking to stay for some time. The “Mi Gente” singer just announced a 27 dates North American Vibras Tour which will kick off in December. He embarks on a tour in support of his upcoming album Vibras, scheduled for release on May 25.

The US audience had an opportunity to hear J Balvin live during this year’s Coachella festival. He first made a surprise appearance during Beyoncé’s second-weekend performance, joining her to perform “Mi Gente (Remix).” Balvin also appeared alongside Puerto Rican trap artist Bad Bunny during Cardi B’s Coachella set, for the song “I Like It.”

After his success with 2016’s Energía, which debuted at number one on the Billboard Top Latin Albums, J Balvin started working on his new album in 2017. After releasing two singles, “Machika” and “Ahora,” at the beginning of 2018, he revealed in April that the album will be titled Vibras and coming out on May 25th. Vibras will feature appearances by Carla Morrison, Rosalía, Wisin y Yandel, and others.
