The BRIT Awards are less than two months away and we’re still waiting for the list of nominees to be announced, but there’s at least one thing we know about the upcoming ceremony so far. The British comedian Jack Whitehall is set to host the award show for the fourth time in a row.

The Bad Education star recently discussed his hosting duties with The Sun, and said that it’s always an honor to host BRIT Awards, but it feels even more special this year.

“I must be doing something right to be invited back. This is about celebrating all the artists that made the music which helped us get through what’s been a b*d of a year. It’s also now just a nice excuse to get out of the house and put on a suit,” said Whitehall.

The BRIT Awards nominations will be announced on March 31st, with the expectation of a rising star award. Griff has already been announced as the winner in this category, beating Pa Salieu and Rina Sawayama. The ceremony will take place on May 11th, and we’re yet to learn more about its format under the current COVID safety rules.
