With a successful career spanning over five decades, Jane Fonda is one of Hollywood’s biggest living legends and she has many awards to show for it. She’s currently getting ready to add another one to her trophy shelf—Golden Globe’s Cecil B. de Mille Award.

This life-achievement award is reserved for individuals who have made a lasting impact on the film industry. The HFPA president Ali Sar said Fonda is a worthy recipient thanks to her undeniable talent and unwavering commitment to evoking change.

“For more than five decades, Jane’s breadth of work has been anchored in her unrelenting activism, using her platform to address some of the most important social issues of our time,” said Sar in an official statement.

Jane Fonda is no stranger to winning Golden Globes awards—she took home seven awards in the past, and her most recent nomination came in 2015 when she received a nod for her supporting performance in Youth. Fonda is also a recipient of two Oscars for her performances in Klute and Coming Home.

Fonda currently stars in Netflix’s Grace and Frankie, and she’s expected to start filming its final season later this year. Her most recent movie roles include romantic comedy Book Club and Netflix drama Our Souls at Night.
