Jason Bateman is fresh off starring in the Netflix hit series Ozark and he’s getting ready to team up with the streaming giant once again. The Emmy-winning star joined Taron Egerton in the Jaume Collet-Serra-directed action thriller Carry On.

This promising project follows Ethan Kopek, a young TSA agent who gets blackmailed by a mysterious traveler to let a dangerous package slip through security and onto a Christmas Day flight. Bateman’s role is yet to be confirmed, but it’s believed he’ll play the mysterious traveler.

Carry On is the first project to come out of the overall deal Amblin signed with Netflix last June. TJ Fixman initially wrote the script, while Michael Green worked on the most recent draft. Dylan Clark is coming on board as a producer, with Holly Bario, Amblin’s president of production, overseeing the project on behalf of the studio.

Bateman said goodbye to Ozark back in April after four seasons, and he already has several promising projects lined up. He’s set to star alongside Ryan Reynolds in the crime mystery Clue, based on Hasbro’s popular board game, in addition to being attached to Ben Affleck’s film about Nike’s pursuit of Michael Jordan, also starring Affleck, Matt Damon, and Viola Davis.
