The Fox comedy pilot Geniuses has cast its lead.
Jason Biggs (American Pie, Orange Is The New Black) will star opposite the very recently announced Maggie Lawson in the forthcoming comedy pilot.
The multi-camera blue-collar family series hails from LA to Vegas creator/executive producer Lon Zimmet. The comedy follows a blue-collar couple, Cay (Lawson) and Mike (Biggs) living in South Jersey, just trying to get by while raising four kids, three of whom happen to be certified geniuses.
According to Variety, Mike is an affable, enthusiastic dad and husband to Cay. Cay on the other hand is described as a true Jersey girl, with a strong intuition and a nose for BS.
Geniuses will be executive produced by Zimmet. Jonathan Judge will direct the pilot.
