Jason Derulo gave us one of the viral hits of last year with “Savage Love” and now he’s back for more. His first single of 2021, titled “Lifestyle”, is here and it sees him joining forces with none other than Maroon 5’s Adam Levine.
The dance music video shows Derulo performing an elaborate choreography to the beat of his new song with a group of dancers. Some of them are painted in gold, while other wear bedazzled black bodysuits while pouring champagne, adding to the lavish vibe of this glitzy video.
“Lifestyle” is Derulo’s first single of the year, and he described it as the beginning of the new era and one of the favorite songs he’s ever done. Judging by these words, the R&B star may be working on his first album since 2015, when Everything Is 4 came out.
If that’s the case, he’ll have a lot of material to use on this record. “Savage Love” is only one of several non-album singles he released in 2020—most recently, he dropped the solo track “Take You Dancing” and Nuka collaboration “Love Not War (The Tampa Beat)”.
