Jason Derulo and Jawsh 685 have been circling no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with “Savage Love” the entire summer, but they were missing one secret ingredient. BTS hopped on the remix of this catchy tune and helped them finally reach the top.

“Savage Love” became a radio hit and TikTok sensation shortly after being released on June 11th. It hit no. 1 in several countries, and the U.S. finally became one of them this week, after the K-pop band recorded a remix of this song – their second hit to top the Billboard Hot 100 this year after “Dynamite”.

“Savage Love” also soared to no. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 chart, which tracks digital sales and streaming numbers from over 200 territories worldwide. This remix failed to replicate the same success on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, where “Lovesick Girls” by Blackpink hit the top spot.

This wasn’t Blackpink’s only major chart triumph this week. Their debut LP The Album reached no. 2 on the Billboard 200 album chart, while Savage Mode II by 21 Savage & Metro Boomin soared to the top spot.
