After three years of development, Aquaman 2 is finally underway, and Jason Momoa recently gave us a taste of things to come. He took to social media to share the first look photos at his new costume in the upcoming sequel Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

Momoa captioned the photo with the words, “Second round. New suit. More action” and gave us a look at two separate costumes. The first is green and orange and pays homage to the original comic book look, while the second shows Aquaman embracing darker colors.

In a video that he shared with his followers, Momoa revealed that he’s currently in London filming the sequel and said it’s amazing to be back. “This is the last day of the brown. I’m gonna be a blonde. Supposedly [they] have more fun. I don’t know about that. We’ll test it out. But I’m excited to see [director] James [Wan], see my whole cast,” said the Aquaman actor.

The first Aquaman movie came out in 2018, but Momoa also played the iconic character in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League. In addition to Momoa, the film also starred Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II who are expected to return for the sequel.
