Murder Mystery made quite a splash when it premiered on Netflix and its fans are getting ready for another round. The first trailer for Murder Mystery 2 is here and it sees Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston joining forces to solve another crime.
According to the film’s official synopsis, “Murder Mystery 2 sends Nick and Audrey Spitz on a high-stakes case that finally gives them everything they’ve ever dreamed of: a shot at their detective agency finally becoming successful… and their long-awaited trip to Paris.”
Sandler and Aniston star as full-time detectives Nick and Audrey Spitz, struggling to get their private eye agency off the ground. Their luck turns once their friend Maharaja (Adeel Akhtar) invites them to his lavish wedding, only to be abducted in the middle of the festivities.
Murder Mystery 2 will also star Mark Strong, Mélanie Laurent, Jodie Turner-Smith, Kuhoo Verma, John Kani, and Dany Boon. It will premiere on Netflix on March 31.
The first Murder Mystery film was quite a success for the streamer despite mixed reviews when it premiered in 2019. It was watched by 30.9 million households in the first 72 hours, scoring the biggest opening weekend for a film in Netflix’s history at the time.
