Jennifer Aniston blames the boys for the painful absence of a Friends reboot.

Over the last decade, rumors of a Friends reboot have been flying left, right and center. One star will interview and say they are up for it and we all get ridiculously overexcited only for a co-star to say it is definitely not happening.

The latest in the Friends reboot gossip is that Jennifer Aniston (aka Rachel Green) is totally up for a reboot, along with Lisa Kudrow (aka Pheobe) and Courtney Cox (aka Monica). The reason it is not happening, she says, is because of the boys.

On The Late, Late Show with James Corden, she said: “Listen, the girls always say we would love to do it again, and the boys are a little less excited about it for some reason — I don’t know.”

She then joked (only we really hope there was a hint of seriousness in there): “And so, we’ve decided that we’ll just do … a remake of The Golden Girls in 40 years.”

In conclusion, if you still want a Friends reboot, Matt Le Blanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer are the ones that need convincing.
