Rachel Green is still dear to Jennifer Aniston’s heart.

The 49-year-old brought the lovable, slightly spoilt character to life for 10 years during Friends between 1994 and 2004.

With dozens of shows being rebooted — and fans begging for a return to Central Perk — Jennifer admits she has often contemplated the thought.

“Before that show ended, people were asking if we were coming back,” Jen told InStyle magazine. “Courteney [Cox] and Lisa [Kudrow] and I talk about it. I fantasize about it. It really was the greatest job I ever had. I don’t know what it would look like today, but you never know. So many shows are being successfully rebooted.”

So does that mean the gang is in?

Not exactly…

“I know Matt LeBlanc [Joey] doesn’t want to be asked that question anymore,” she admitted. “But maybe we could talk him into it.”

But don’t worry — Jen has other ideas, too:

“Or we just give it some time and then Lisa, Courteney, and I could reboot The Golden Girls and spend our last years together on wicker furniture.”

Is it a coincidence that The Golden Girls’ theme song says, “Thank you for being a friend”?

We think not.
