Just like every show you knew and loved a decade or two ago, Alias is also gearing up for a comeback. Jennifer Garner, who played the lead in this hit espionage series, recently said she heard rumors about a potential reboot.

Alias was created by renowned filmmaker J. J. Abrams and aired on ABC for five seasons between 2001 and 2006. It centered on the adventures of double agent Sydney Bristow, who was recruited by the CIA straight out of college, and trained for espionage and self-defense.

Garner was relatively a newcomer at the time of her casting, but this role helped her make a name for herself and became the recipient of several coveted awards, including a Golden Globe. It’s uncertain if she’ll go back to playing Sydney Bristow even if the reboot really happens.

“I’ve heard that there’s an Alias reboot happening, but no one’s talked to me about it. I mean it would be totally different. But if they didn’t have me on as a guest, I would be very, very angry. But I can’t imagine it being that serious yet because I haven’t heard anything about it at all,” said Garner, who recently mad TV comeback in HBO’s new comedy Camping, created by Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner.
