Body-swap comedies are one of the most hilarious genres on the market, and Netflix has one on the way this fall. The streaming giant dropped the first trailer for Family Switch, the upcoming family comedy led by Jennifer Garner and Ed Helms.
Family Switch centers on Jess and Bill Walker, a middle-aged couple doing their best to keep their family connected as their children grow older, and here’s what it has in store according to its official synopsis:
“When a chance encounter with an astrological reader causes the family to wake up to a full body switch, on the morning of the most important day of each of their lives, can the Walkers unite to land a promotion, college interview, record deal, and soccer tryout?”
In addition to Garner and Helms, Family Switch also stars Emma Myers and Brady Noon as their children, with Rita Moreno, Matthias Schweighöfer, Bashir Salahuddin, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Fortune Feimster, Xosha Roquemore, and Paul Scheer in supporting roles.
Family Switch is based on the children’s book Bedtime for Mommy by Amy Krouse Rosenthal, and it was adapted by Adam Sztykiel and Victoria Strouse and directed by McG. It will be released on Netflix on November 30.
