Many actors try to stay away from the franchise that once made them famous, but Jennifer Lawrence is a different story. She wrote her name in the stars with the role of Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games franchise, and she’d be happy to reprise it again.

Lawrence dropped some major truth bombs while doing promo for her upcoming comedy No Hard Feelings, starting with if she would ever pick up Katniss’ bow and arrow and play this beloved character again.

“Oh, my God – totally! If Katniss could ever come back into my life, 100 percent… My producing partner just clutched her heart,” she told Variety.

Lawrence’s statement doesn’t come as a shocker since she previously told The New York Times that The Hunger Games movies were fantastic and that the only thing that gave her pause about them was the level of fame they would bring into her life.

The Hunger Games franchise will go on without Lawrence, and the prequel about the young Coriolanus Snow, titled The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, is set to come out this year. The Oscar-winning star jokingly told The New York Times that this news makes her feel “old as mold” because she’s fully aware that The Hunger Games films will most likely be remade one day, but she’ll be too old to play Katniss when that moment comes.
