It’s been a while since we’ve seen Jennifer Lawrence lead a major comedy movie, but she’s finally ready to make us laugh again. The Oscar-winning actress leads the first trailer for No Hard Feelings, an edgy comedy about a young woman making all the wrong choices.

According to its official synopsis, this laugh-out-loud comedy focuses on Maddie, a young woman who’s on the brink of losing her childhood home, when she discovers an intriguing job listing: wealthy “helicopter” parents are looking for someone to date their introverted son Percy before he goes off to college.

As the trailer progresses, we quickly learn this won’t be an easy mission as each of their “dates” ends up in disaster—from Maddie getting pepper sprayed because Percy thinks she’s trying to kidnap him to ruining a high school party with their erratic behavior.

No Hard Feelings from Gene Stupnitsky, the director of Good Boys and Bad Teacher, who co-wrote the script with John Phillips. In addition to Lawrence, who’s also serving as a producer, the film stars Andrew Barth Feldman, Matthew Broderick, Laura Benanti, Natalie Morales, Scott MacArthur, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Hasan Minhaj, and Kylie Mooney.

No Hard Feelings will be released by Sony Pictures on June 23.
