Jennifer Lopez really kept us waiting for her new studio album, but the wait is finally over! She announced the release of her first album in almost a decade, titled This Is Me… Now, marking the 20th anniversary of her seminal 2002 record This Is Me… Then.

J. Lo’s new record will see the singer reflect on the “emotional, spiritual, and psychological journey she has taken over the past two decades” and address some of the rumors that have been following her for most of her career.

“There’s a part of me that was hiding a side of myself from everyone. And I feel like I’m at a place in my life, finally, where I have something to say about it,” Lopez told Vogue.

This Is Me… Now is somewhat of a sequel to her 2002 record This Is Me… Then, and they’re both inspired by her relationship with Ben Affleck. J. Lo’s new LP will even feature a sequel to the song “Dear Ben” titled “Dear Ben Pt. II”.

This Is Me… Now marks J. Lo’s first album in almost a decade, since the release of her 2014 record A.K.A. It will feature a total of 13 tracks and its release date is yet to be announced.
