Jennifer Lopez Drops Wild Trailer for “This Is Me…Now: A Love Story”

Jennifer Lopez said that her musical film This Is Me…Now will be unlike anything we’ve seen before when she first announced it – and she wasn’t kidding! Amazon just dropped the first trailer for This Is Me…Now: A Love Story, and it’s the wildest thing you’ll see all day.

This Is Me…Now: A Love Story has been announced as a companion to J.Lo’s upcoming ninth studio album This Is Me…Now, set to hit the shelves on February 16. When she first announced it, we were expecting a classic celebrity confessional, but it turns out this musical film is anything but.

Directed by Dave Meyers, the first trailer for This Is Me…Now: A Love Story promises a genre-bending journey, that could turn out to be anything from a visual album to a rom-com with an action-packed twist.

“Jennifer has created a narrative-driven cinematic odyssey, steeped in mythological storytelling and personal healing. Dropping in tandem with her first studio album in a decade, this genre-bending Amazon original showcases her journey to love through her own eyes,” reads Amazon’s official logline.

Lopez is promising everything from fantastical costumes and breathtaking choreography to star-studded cameos, from the likes of Ben Affleck, Trevor Noah, Kim Petras, Post Malone, Keke Palmer, Sofia Vergara, and Neil deGrasse Tyson. This film will debut on Amazon Prime Video on February 16, accompanying the release of her album This Is Me…Now.
