Jennifer Lopez recently revealed she’s working on her first studio album in almost a decade, and we finally know when it will hit the shelves. J.Lo recently shared some exciting information about her next LP This Is Me… Now and revealed it will be released this summer.

Lopez was one of the artists featured on Spotify promo for their new feature Countdown Pages. She felt this was the perfect opportunity to reveal her new album is hitting the shelves this summer, adding that she’s super excited to share it with the world.

This Is Me… Now is Lopez’s first album since A.K.A. in 2014 and it serves as a spiritual successor to her iconic third studio album This Is Me… Then. This record was originally released in 2002, and it produced some of J.Lo’s biggest hits, including “Jenny from the Block”.

This Is Me… Now will feature a total of 13 tracks, and the singer will use it to set the record straight about some of the things she went through over the course of the past two decades.

“People think they know things about what happened to me along the way… and a lot of times they get it so wrong. There’s a part of me that was hiding a side of myself from everyone. And I feel like I’m at a place in my life, finally, where I have something to say about it,” Lopez previously told Vogue.
